Chris & Joan Wood
Chris and Joan Wood are the founders and directors of Pivot Point Ministries, a ministry dedicated to strengthening and equipping the Body of Christ.
With over 47 years of ministry experience, they share practical, Spirit-filled messages at conferences, retreats, and churches—both across the U.S. and around the world. Their heart is to see people grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus, walk confidently in their God-given identity, and step boldly into their calling.
Chris and Joan have ministered in more than 24 countries on five continents, always with the desire to bring hope, unity, and Kingdom purpose to those they serve. Whether encouraging individuals in their daily walk or speaking to churches about walking in power and authority, their passion is to see lives transformed and the Church united.
Married for 49 years, they are proud parents of three married children and grandparents to eight amazing grandchildren. They are ordained through Elim Fellowship and continue to serve faithfully as humble, joyful servants of the Lord—encouraging others in their journey of faith.

Our Story
Pivot Point Ministries was founded in 2025 as an apostolic ministry devoted to strengthening the Body of Christ.
We exist to help churches, ministry couples, and individuals stay centered on Jesus—especially during times of transition, challenge, or change. Everyone faces seasons where they feel stuck, uncertain, or weary. That’s when a pivot point can make all the difference.
Our heart is to create space for reflection, healing, and clarity—helping people identify what’s holding them back and discover practical, Spirit-led steps into the next season of ministry, marriage, or life.
More and more, we see ministry couples under intense pressure—some stepping away, others just trying to survive. We walk alongside them, offering tools and encouragement to reconnect with God and each other so they can flourish and continue in their calling with joy.
We also work with churches that feel stalled or uncertain in their mission. By helping them renew their vision and regain focus, we’ve seen leaders and congregations step into their Kingdom purpose with fresh energy and Holy Spirit insight.
Whether it’s a church, a couple, or a leader—we love helping people reignite their passion for ministry and their walk with the Lord.
